GENESIS GROUP
CERTIFICATION UNIT
The Genesis Group Certification Unit is responsible for all certifications issued by the group. It is a Products Certification Body accredited by Inmetro, in compliance with ISO 65, to issue products, processes and Warehousing Units Certifications.

First certification body accredited by MAPA – Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Food Supply to operate in the Sisbov area – Identification and Certification of Bovine and Bubaline Origin and production process traceability in rural properties.

Genesis Certificações was the first body accredited by MAPA/Conab for Warehousing Units certification in 2008. It issued the first farm certification by the GlobalGap protocol in 2007.

In the Safe Food Management area, the group is accredited by Sindirações – the Brazilian Feed industry Association for the certification of the Feed&Food Safety program – and ABR – Responsible Brazilian Cotton -, a certification seal for sustainable cotton.

ORGANICS

ORGANIC PRODUCTS CERTIFICATION

This certification guarantees that products labeled as organic are produced according to organic agriculture standards, bringing greater safety regarding the quality of the animal and vegetal products

Organic products differentiation occurs based on their physical qualities mainly in regards to the absence of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, which are related to the way they were produced.

The granting of the seal or certificate helps to eliminate, or at least minimize, uncertainties in relation to the products quality, offering consumers objective information, which are important at purchasing.

WAREHOUSING UNITS

PIONNEER IN ACCREDITATION

CERTIFICATION BY THE NATIONAL WAREHOUSING UNITS CERTIFICATION SYSTEM BASED ON NORMATIVE INSTRUCTION 29 FROM 06/08/2011

Mandatory certification for all grain or fibers warehousing units that provide remunerated services to third parties, financed by the banking system or with public stocks and volunteer to other structures that want to join the system.

This Warehousing Certification is valid for 5 (five) years from its issuing date and must be renewed at the end of the period.

RTRS

PRODUCTION CERTIFICATION, PROCESSING AND RESPONSIBLE COMMERCIALIZATION OF SOYBEAN

The RTRS – Round Table on Responsible Soy is civil society organization that promotes production, processing and responsible soybean sales, with more than 180 members from the key producers and consumers around the world.

The RTRS Certification guarantees that the soybean originated from an environmentally correct, socially just and economically viable process.

The certification is valid for 5 years and is based on five basic criteria such as compliance with the legal requirements, decent work conditions, respect and development of the local community, environment care and good agricultural practices.

The Brazilian Bovine and Buffalo Traceability System (SISBOV) is the official individual identification of bovine and buffalo system with the objective to register and monitor animals from rural properties that commercialize animals for slaughterhouses that export meat and markets that demand individual traceability.

GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES PROTOCOL
